ENTRE is a nano-performance offered to a single audience member at a time. The participant spectator is blindfolded, welcomed into a sculptural installation and equipped with a headset playing live music. An invisible performer deploys an experience solely for them.
For ten minutes, the viewer is immersed in a continuum where they see only through touch. Visitor and performer become three-dimensional mirrors of each other, telescoping each other’s perceptions. A subtle intimacy between the bodies gives rise to a deep intimacy in the relationship. As a study on the singularity of each person, ENTRE invites us to consider the body, space and time with a different lens.
