At the request of Simiuni Nauya, a longtime collaborator, Aurélie opened, in 2024, creative and craft spaces for First Nations and Inuit artists in vulnerable situations.
A space for self-creation through art, a space of mutual respect, a peaceful space, a space of sharing. This project nourishes both the participants and Aurélie herself—it creates possibility.
The works and words gathered during the workshops will feed into the MEMORIES MAP creative project, and will lead to a collective exhibition in spring 2027.
