INFINITUDE

Création 2027

Building on a questioning of the hegemony of the visual in the apprehension of existence, INFINITUDE, an interactive immersive work, unfolds a space of slowing down that resists the speed and overstimulation of our times. Kinesthetic sensation and the subversion of the senses — sight in particular — lie at the heart of the work.

It comes to life within an enclosed space whose outer form remains forever withheld from the visitor’s gaze, and within which the public, through movement or stillness, interacts with a subtle constellation of light.

INFINITUDE rests largely on a destructuring of scale: what is small and large, slow and fast, inner and outer become blurred, opening a space in which the spectator shifts into another perception of the real.
