In the significantly durational INVISIBLE (24 to 72 hours, uninterrupted), the audience weaves their unique relationship to the work. From the moment the performance begins, the audience knows that things can proceed without them, and that they can return to it when they wish. INVISIBLE shines a light on collective intelligence, demonstrating that our actions and gestures impact the space and others, and eventually our environment.
INVISIBLE is a “choreographing” space, rather than a choreographic one. The performance fosters a conversation between presences—audience-participants and performers compose, even comprise the work together.
INVISIBLE offers multiple entry points. Equipped with proposals from a deck of cards, visitors engage in a participative and personal experience shaped by the choices they make. In this “living space,” movement becomes a “keeper of the living.”

“Aurélie Pedron creates in Invisible an intimacy that is immediate. From the first moment I stepped into the big room, I felt enveloped by the dancers’ fluid movements and I was immediately at ease being part of this experiment. This piece moves between installation, choreography and performance and feels like a transformative experience.” Jacqueline van der Geer Wesmontmag pour WesmontMag, le 27 mai 2022
“We step out of the proposition when we wish to bring it to an end, knowing that it will continue to live for several more hours. Invisible reminds us that art exists in various forms, both formal and informal: it exists when we look at it, but also when our backs are turned. Movement never stops, and it certainly surpasses us.” (…) Invisible outlives us. Here is a vertigo that cradles sadness, unfolds beauty, and dissolves memory. (…) I did not go to see Invisible. That would be a misconstruction. No, with Invisible, I went to live there.” Co-écriture à six mains par Alice Blanchet Gavouyère, Germain Ducros et Penélope Desjardins pour Artichaud Magazine, 3 juin 2022
